My wife and I first visited Crow Rock in 1976. We had never fished in Canada before and that was our first experience. There is an expression “love at first sight”, and that expresses clearly what we felt at Crow Rock.

We have returned to Crow Rock year after year since that first trip. Yes, we tried some other resorts over the years but what brought us back to Crow Rock was the following:

Outstanding Fishing:
Many muskies, included my biggest which was 53″ long. My wife’s biggest pike was 45″ long; numerous walleyes in the 30″ range; countless smallmouth bass in the 18,19, and 20″ range; Lake Trout in the 10lb to 20lb range.

A feeling of being at home:
We were always warmly received, and it didn’t take long. We felt like we were really treated like friends and family, not just clients.

Friendships:
Besides the above – we made wonderful and lasting friendships over the years with other fishermen that we met at Crow Rock, and those friendships have continued today.

The beauty of Lake of the Woods, the great fishing, the warmth and caring of the Dafcik family and their wonderful staff makes Crow Rock a place you can’t wait to return to year after year.

I’ve been going to Crow Rock for 28 years. The fishing is incredible! Walleyes are plentiful, Smallmouth are a ton of fun, the Pike & Musky population seems to be increasing both in size and numbers.

In June 2011, we boated several Pike and Musky over 40″, several Walleye that were 28+”, and probably 20 Smallmouth that were 18+”. Couple that with the hundreds of fish below those “big” numbers, and gives you an idea of the quality of fishing.

With access to LOTW and the several smaller “portage” lakes, there is truly something for everyone. With the 10,000 islands on LOTW and access to the portage lakes, you can find places to fish in any condition. The Camp itself is a top-notch fishing camp with great individual cabins, and the food is in the excellent restaurant caliber. The best part of Crow Rock is that it’s family run, with a super helpful staff that will do anything to make your stay a memorable experience.

They are so friendly and make you feel welcome from minute you arrive until the moment you leave. There is not a day that goes by where the staff continues to exceed your expectations! The guides are one in a million.

I highly recommend Crow Rock if you are looking for a first class fishing experience at a very fair price!

The scenery is breathtaking, the air is cool, the fishing is good, but most of all, the staff is dedicated to making sure you and your family have a really good time.

Wendel,

We wanted to let you know that, once again, we very much enjoyed our stay at Crow Rock Lodge. Our group looks forward to this trip all year and we very much appreciate everything that you and all the folks at Crow Rock did to make our stay enjoyable. The extra help that you and your employees provided during the loading and unloading of this group of ten was very welcome; the new deck on the cabin and new Weber grill were great additions. Thanks too for providing the extra cot and having the freezer stocked with ice.

We will forward pictures soon but for now thank you and see you next year.

Best Regards,

Just a quick note to thank you and your staff for a great time. This was the first time I had been to your camp and I would like you to pass along to your staff what a fantastic time we had. The guides, the meals, the entire experience was beyond expectations and we will beback. My only disappointment – I could not stay longer.

Thank you again, we will be back in the future.

Sincerely,
