Clothing and Gear Recommendations - Crow Rock and Rowdy Lake
CLOTHING FOR SPRING AND FALL: Heavy jacket, sweatshirt or sweater, long sleeve shirts, thermal underwear, wool cap, gloves and warm socks. Also t-shirts and shorts for the warmer days. Waterproof boots, comfortable pair of shoes or sneakers. Good waterproof rain suit and your favorite fishing cap. CLOTHING FOR SUMMER: Light jacket, sweatshirt or sweater for cool mornings and evenings. Long sleeve shirt, t-shirts, and shorts. Waterproof boots, comfortable pair of shoes or sneakers. Good waterproof rain suit and your favorite fishing cap. MISCELLANEOUS GEAR: Sunscreen, sunglasses, camera, lots of film for those trophy fish, small pack sack for portaging to remote lakes, needle nose pliers, pocket knife, nail clipper for cutting fishing line, and lip balm. Cooler if your taking fish home, (we do provide medium size coolers for the boat or cabin). Filleting knife if you plan on preparing your own shore lunch. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BRING: Blankets, sheets, towels, soap, landing nets, life jackets, or minnow buckets. AVERAGE TEMPERATURES DURING OUR SEASON June 21 – August 21 Average temperatures ranging from 72 to 82 degrees for daytime highs and 50 to 65 degrees for nighttime lows. |
